About

Considered one of the most successful shojo manga creators of the last decade, Suu Morishita is known for Shortcake Cake, Like a Butterfly, and currently-running manga A Sign of Affection. Now in its twelfth volume, the popular series follows Yuki Itose, a student who experiences her quiet world as vibrant, where youth and love shine. A Sign of Affection has also been adapted into an anime series and a stage musical.

Morishita will be at KODANSHA HOUSE for an A Sign of Affection book signing and Q&A. She’ll discuss the origins of A Sign of Affection, the process of writing and accurately representing a deaf character, and more. See details and schedule below. Bring your copy or pick one up at KODANSHA HOUSE!
